Ages 12 and Up

" I finally beat Dillard in a game of Scattergories!"

- Maggie Keller

Of course, Maggie is being quite modest. Dillard has lost more than a round or two of this Milton-Bradley classic to the esteemed library volunteer since they began the weekly tradition.
Regular readers are no doubt aware of the lapse in updates to "Maggie Says". The blog has been on hiatus in the months during the Library's move to it's new location. When asked if she liked the new facility, Maggie responded: "Are you kidding? I'm so in love with it. I think its the most beautiful library in the whole world." Maggie gives tours of the new Library in the Forest whenever she is volunteering and invites all you folks to join her for a look at Alabama's first LEED certified library.

" With two men "

~Dillard~

"At The same time?'

Entertainment

" Dillard is a Genius "
- Love, Mags

Editor's note: She really said that. I didn't make it up.

~Dillard~
"So you follow
American Idol and Dancing With The Stars, right?"

~Maggie~

"Both of them stink this year."

~Dillard~

"What makes you say that?"

~Maggie~

"I can smell something coming from my TV set when they sing."

~Dillard~

"Ha!"

~Maggie~

" ...And as for Dancing With The Stars, most of the dancers have two left feet and Pamela Anderson is liable to fall over on her face at any minute."

~Dillard~

"Wow..."

~Maggie~

" Because of her huge bazoombas."

Packing For Paris

" Special Notice to Courtney: Has Big Daddy taught you to play
Packing for Paris yet? "

Packing for Paris is a fun alphabet game that Maggie is fond of and she wants to get the word out. It involves naming and memorizing items of luggage beginning with each consecutive letter in the alphabet.

" Also, did we ever give the poll results? They need to know the answer was ears. They're my best feature. "

"Ambi-Aqueous"

" I Like mermaids. They're Ambi-Aqueous."
- Maggie Keller

- Dillard -
" Meaning? "

- Maggie-
"Meaning they can live on land and in water."

- Dillard -
"But what about The Little Mermaid? She couldn't live on land. She needed magic legs."

- Maggie -
" I haven't seen that movie."

Maggie said many interesting things today. "Everyday I get excited when I pass the building site for the new library." Like most VHL regulars, Maggie can't wait to see the new library in its completed state. She was also sure to point out: "Mags will not be here on March 15th. But not to worry, I'll be back on Wednesday." ( in reference to her volunteer duties at the good 'ol Vestavia Hills Library )

Denouncement

" Please don't dress your animals in silly clothes. "

- Mrs. Maggie Keller

Today Maggie's attention was captivated by a book entitled Pets Who Want To Kill Themselves. Needless to say, its photographs invoked her deepest sympathies.
